About

Building Information Modelling (BIM) is a modern process of providing computer files in typically proprietary formats containing data relating to the physical properties of a design. It is used as a tool in the design of projects, buildings and infrastructure in order to portray the vision and intent before ever commencing construction.

SGL employ a suite of BIM software which includes but is not limited to Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Tekla Structural Designer, Trimble Connect and eDrawings. By employing the use of this software via our qualified and experienced employees, we are able to integrate drawings, models and data into master data registers and master model files combining structural design information with that of the architect or M&E contractor etc.

By being able to integrate our designs with those of other disciplines, we are able to provide a better visual experience to detect clash checks & allow coherent coordination between parties.
